Cat's Laughing is hands down the best band ever in all the world and in the whole universe and timestream and multiverse...and so on. They have such a cool sound and anyone who doesn't hink so I'll call out and have words with. They have a psychedelic rock improv folk-jazz sound to them if you want to be barbaric in describing their awesome music. I mean it's the only way to describe their music without waxing too poetic.

They aren't around anymore. Emma Bull, the lead singer, puts out books and is playing with another band now. I still remember the days, "Hi, we're the band. Emma Bull, Steven Brust, Adam Stemple and Lojo Russo!" Oh I miss those days. I have a pink sweatshirt that I got a couple of years back at one of Cat's Laughing's concerts and it is still one of my prized possessions. Emma Bull's books are in a special place in my room...awesome writer by the way. Emma writes science fiction and fantasy books and is my favorite writer, probably ever. I'll have to do a few book summaries and put them up on the website for your enjoyment one of these days. The books are pretty cool.

I made this fan page as a way to demand the reforming of Cat's Laughing! They MUST do a reunion tour (if they do because I put up this website I'll simply die, but it's worth a shot)! And they must get me a new sweatshirt before my other one wears out on me!!! I've taken very good care of the sweatshirt, but still...it needs some friends in my dresser *hint hint Emma if you ever visit this page ;-)*. Most of the band has gone onto other projects, unfortunately, so the odds of them getting back together for all you fans out there, aren't great as far as I know. I've lost track of them all through the years. I'll try to get links up to all of the band members websites one day soon, but in the meantime Emma's website is up and working if you ever want to visit. The link is up on my links page.

So anyway go out to your local record store, ask them why they don't have Cat's Laughing in stock, and demand they begin to stock them! You MUST BUY THESE ALBUMS *swings watch before your eyes to try and get you to see her way of thinking* for they are the best albums in the universe. Okay, my little bit of hypnosis is done for today. But, seriously, if you want a good band to check out and try, if you're bored with the GBB (Generic Boy Bands) or the Britany Spears clones out there (and who isn't???) then go on out to your local record store and see if you can't order a couple of Cat's Laughing's albums just to try. If nothing else at least you'll have given it a try and if you don't like them you can throw them into a pile with all of the other CD's you went out and bought at one time or another and couldn't figure out why. I don't think you'll be disappointed though. I never have been.
