Notes and General Updates for Today

Okay people, here's the deal. I KNOW I haven't updated much of anything the last year or so, but I do have good reasons for it. For an explaination of those reasons, please see the "My Life" section of the site...cause that's the only thing I got to update today anyway. I'll try to update more at some time in the (hopefully) near future.

Well, hello everyone. I know it's been a while since I updated. I had good reasons, seriously, which I went into on the "My Life" section of the site, which of course has been updated today. Another good reason I haven't updated is that I have found myself so majorly disillusioned with Marvel and all that they have done to Kitty over the years that the website just doesn't give me the thrill it used to and it is sort of hard to get my enthusiasm up to keep it updated all the time. I'm sorry about that. Don't worry though. I'm not going to tear the site down anytime soon...too many people seem to enjoy the site and I have put just about ten years worth of work into it at this point, so I can't see throwing all that away just because I hate Marvel. It probably just won't get updated very much.

At any rate, I have updated today in no particular order...

Kitty's Page, which I'd like to add an apology for not getting around to answering Timmy's question that he wrote back in March of last year until now. Better late than never I guess.

Locked and Loaded has been updated with some news and stuff. Sorry for the delay there too.

And of course the "My Life" section of the site to bring people up to date on me.

And that is about it for today. Sorry that there isn't more, but my motivations have gotten switched around a lot the last year as I've had a lot go on in my life. Take care people and enjoy the updates!

I'm sorry I haven't updated before now, but I have been SICK the last couple of months with a cough that just would NOT leave me alone (I'm still fighting it) and then I had some other stuff pop up and just plain haven't had a lot of time on my hands. But I FINALLY got the next page in the chronology done!!! YAY!!!! After only four crashes and redos, we've got it up and running for your amusement on the chronology section (and warning this is the longest one yet...we got into Excalibur this time =).

I also redid the main "entrance" as it was to the site (where I used to give a choice on old Netscape format or the newer format). I took off the old Netscape format option and just turned it into a generic "Enter" sign because I haven't gotten one person who told me that they used it when I asked for feedback so I figured no one uses it and why do all the extra work to keep it up if I'm the only one looking at it.

And that's about it for updates tonight. I need to get to bed...my eyes are closing on their own. I'll try to do more updating tommorrow. OH!!! I almost forgot. I also added X-men #195 to the 6th page of the chronology, because my husband was wise enough to realize that we had missed that issue. So enjoy reading up on that one as well :-).

Just realized that forum.onecenter.com is down and probably for good, so I switched forums to livejournal.com. You can access the new forum through this link...

Now in other news, I want to take a quick pole and you can either e-mail your answers or post them on the forum. Does anyone USE the old version of this site anymore??? If I don't get a lot of people, or even one person saying "Yes" to this question, I'm probably going to stop using the old verison of the site and just stick with the newer version. So, please give me some feedback on that if you could. Thanks!

I updated the page by finally managing to get the old format back to the main pages. Sorry for the delay in updates. My old computer was slowly dying and mangaged to destroy both of my back up disks for my website. I then had to go and buy a new computer last week when I realized that it wasn't fixable. I finally managed to rebuild my main page codes and got them back up today and hopefully next week I can start to rebuild the updates and the chronology and stuff I was working on. Once again I apologize. Life just got really difficult recently, through no fault of my husband's or mine, so its been hard to get anything accomplished lately.

Decorated for Christmas and udpated the "My Life" section with a new format that I'm working on.

I updated the main pages to celebrate Halloween (and the forum). I also updated Kitty's page/Kitty's site, so check that out. I also updated the links page with a new link to Shadowcat~Pryde, a new Kitty site coming out and I updated the "Pick of the Litter" award for the first time since February. Wow. You people have GOT to nominate stuff more *grin*. I'll update more shortly =). Oh and I also announced the winners to the 2005 Catbox contest so check that out as well!

I updated "Locked and Loaded", Kitty's site, and on the main site I updated the gallery and the wallpaper section. And that's it for today.

I updated the page with new Kitty news found in the news/events section. I'm sorry I didn't update more, but I started updating late and I have work tommorrow. Enjoy!

I updated the gallery with a new image and I updated the Stats page with a new entry on Kitty. And I'll get to more later, I promise.

And happy fourth of July to all the American's out there. I've finally updated the page a bit (yay!), so here's the list of the updates for today (I'm hoping to do more soon, but I just plain ran out of time).

I updated the Kitty Multi Media pages with new scans of the new Kitty bust under the "Products/Toys" section. I updated Kitty's history and also fixed a foible where I named Saturnyne instead of Sat-yr-9 (thanks to David T. for that reminder to me to be accurate :-). I updated the "My Life" section with updates about me in particular (like most people care, but hey why not right ;-). I added "Iceman's Lair" to the links section under the X-character Specific heading. I also updated the News/Events section with some new news about X-men 3.

And that is about it for today. Although here's a happy side note. The Catbox is turning 8 years old July 11. Neat huh? Can't believe the site has had that much staying power. And neater yet is that the Catbox shares the same month and year B-day as "Fonts of Wisdom"...so I just think that is wicked cool myself. Sorry...I just had to brag a bit ;-). And enjoy the updates for today, I am going to bed.

I updated the links page today with two new links. One to Bedrock City Comics, a chain of comic book stores in Houston, Texas (and surrounding area) that you should visit should you ever be in the Houston area (or heck Texas period ;-). In the meantime, visit their website and see what glories there are to behold there. Well...go *makes shooing motion with hands*. I also updated the link to 1000+ Marvel links by linking directly to www.marvel.jouwpagina.nl (you can find it under the general X-men tab or the Resources for comic book resources tab) because the webmaster requested that I relink to him, which I did gladly.

And THAT is just about that for today. I'll decorate the forum for Easter here at least so that people will have a new background to look at, and don't forget to enter the new Catbox contest =).

I updated more than a couple of things today. I updated the "Pick of the Litter Award" for the last couple of months. I updated the "My Life" section so you all can be appraised of what has been going on in my life for a while now. I updated Kitty's history with some new information. I updated the Multi-Media page with some cool new product stuff...pictures of the new X-men Chocolate bars...the box that is and it has some cool pics of Kitty on there.

I awarded the "Lockheeds" for 2004, so check out the winners there. I also launched a new contest for 2005, so definitely check it out because you can win some cool prizes this year!
