Okay I have redone a lot of the X-men costumes, but first I should explain a couple things for those who have never drawn or tried this before...it is a pain in the butt...and I'm not lying, to get colors that come through and show black ink lines. I don't have near the money to buy the paints that comic artists use, so I go with the media of marker and black art pen...it can be tricky and royally a pain working with the darker colors, because the pen will not show through it if you are not careful...and thus a lot of the people will be shown in much lighter colors then they would be wearing in a comic book. Also, trying to get a costume to go to paper as well as it is pictured in your head is a lot harder then writing, so some of these costumes have a lot more to them then is shown (for instances Scott's costume that is shown is with an overjacket that he would only wear sometimes...there are MANY different variations to the uniform that have nothing to do with the jacket that I have not drawn yet and I don't know if I will...it is a pain to draw that guy for some odd reason for me). Also getting the poses right to show off the costumes is a pain in the butt too, so the poses might hide part of the costumes...sorry about that. I think that is about it explaining myself.
If you wish to see some Costume redos that I have done for the X-men please go ahead and click on the links below that will take you to the pages. If you have any compliments or complaints feel free to e-mail me...feedback is feedback I guess *grin*. I know they aren't much, but I tried to be practical when designing them which is more then I can say for a lot of the current artists (looking toward all the exposed abs and the thonged X-woman of old, and ohhhh...Kitty the Wonder Bat look that Kitty had going for a while *shudder*), so please have mercy on me. Enjoy.
