Pictures of Me
Here are some pictures of me and sometimes my family if you want to see what I look like now.

First up is probably my most recent photos. No, they're not that great (they actually ended up not being used because they didn't turn out right), but they were taken for Vic Kohring (I can spell his name now that I worked on his campaign) for his campaign posters, so keep that in mind.

This is ironically the first time I met Vic, so yes the pictures of me shaking his hand looking impressed are the real deal :-).

And just a big old plug for the guy, if you live in Alaska and want to have a great man in office who is anti-government waste among other great things, vote for Vic Kohring when he runs again and thank you to all who voted for Vic who ran for the state senate and WON!!! Awesome for him since he does such a cool job. I've never met a politician that works as hard as Vic does and I've met a lot of politicians, so I'm glad to say that he's still out there to help us poor shleps who need it to help us deal with the weird world of politics.

Next up is the reason that I grew out my hair to the length you can sorta see in the picture above. You see I cut my hair short for like two years after I worked for Walt Disney World. First it was out of necessity because popcorn salt and other nasty things down there did wonders for wrecking my hair for a while so it needed to be cut short. And then my family assured me I looked great in short hair, and not being one that looked in a mirror and really looked at myself all the time I figured they were right. And then I got this picture back from the developers...
And I decided my family was nuts. I decided to grow out my hair and have been doing so ever since. I have bangs now and my hair is about the same length. I actually like longer hair better because you can do more with it (braiding it, ponytail so your neck isn't hot in the summer, wear it out and you're warm in the winter, you can bun it, french twist it, etc). I know a lot of females who look good in long hair, I know a few who look good in somewhat short hair but I know PRECIOUS few who look good in really really short hair. But that's just my biased opinion because I didn't like the look of myself in short hair.

Of course the above comment majorly ticked off my older sister since she has short hair and she thought I was personally attacking her and my younger sister because they have really short hair. Of course she didn't ask how short I meant when I said the comment, or if I even meant her in the generalization (which I did not. My older sister and younger sister actually CAN wear really short hair and look decent in it). I was referring to about buzz cut length anyway, which I never thought Shinad O'Conner or Demi Moore looked good in, or a lot of other people either for that matter, but maybe my sister disagrees with me. My family also thinks my hair looks horrible the way it is now, which is fine, if they'd leave me alone about it I'd be more fine with their opinion...they're allowed to have one. I like my hair the way it is and I THOUGHT that was supposed to be all that mattered. My mom once offered to let me dye my hair technicolor if I wanted to (which of course I didn't), but for some odd reason my family holds it against me that I decided to grow out my hair and am wearing it the way I want to. Ticks me off something fierce that they harp on me about it so darn much when I LIKE MY HAIR, but I guess my opinion isn't supposed to matter even though the hair is on my head. Can't tell I'm annoyed can you?

Next up is actually my wedding photo, or what passes for it. You see my husband and I took the super simple, two witnesses and a person to perform the ceremony route because neither of us ever had the desire to go through a big wedding...EVER! That and we didn't want to hurt family members on either side by not having the wedding in a certain state, so we did the only thing we could think of and had completely objective people perform the ceremony and didn't even have family there at all. That way both sides of the family could be equally ticked off that they didn't get to come, but at least it was fair to both sides, which Clark and I thought was the most important thing. So the Christmas after we got married we went and had our photos taken so that we had a wedding picture to give to family and to show our future kids someday. I think it turned out nicely considering the lady who took our picture was completely unmotivated and really should have been at home instead of at work like a smart person. That is why my jeans show up and my hair looks sort of raggedy. I was assured that I would only be seen from the waist up, so I untucked my blouse and figured I was good and then she just flipped my hair to the side, said it looked good and shot the picture. I was wrong about the untucking the blouse thing and for not checking my hair, so it didn't turn out quite as formal as I would have liked, but it did the job I suppose.

And that's about it for pictures for now. I hope you enjoyed the forage into my life for a brief instant and seeing what I looked like then and now (not to mention getting a glimpse of Clark :-). I was actually rather proud to brow beat my husband into letting me show his picture on my site.

Oh goody! I get to show some pictures of Clark's Camaro. Hee hee. So, here we go...

I thought I'd share because that car is just so comfy, goes super fast and is a nice looking car (and Clark helped to build it when he was 16 and is super proud of it too).

So, I just thought I'd share. Later all!
