With Jean I tried to go for a revamp of the old seventies look for her Pheonix uniform...for obvious reasons...she needed something new. Now then that meant getting rid of the old thigh high boots she had at one time and shortening them to knee length, and also adding something new for the Phoenix on her costume. It is now a Phoenix in flight to symbolize Jean's breaking free from the past and being able to fly again...it also looks cool and takes the place of the sash she had on there before. The gauntlet is going to have her communicator built into it and has a blood red type stone in the shape of a phoenix built into it. The head band is just practical to try and keep all of her hair out of her way. The bare arm is a frill to the costume, but she can easily cover that up with a coat in any climate and she doesn't really have to worry about sun burn that much with only one arm exposed...the gauntlet on the opposite arm also allows her to block laser blasts that Prime Sentinels would be quite adept at throwing at someone.
