Kay this is going to be a semi-long explaination. I put Cable more into colors that make sense... like Earth tones considering he is being hunted down by OZT and he is first and foremost a warrior. Next I put him back into the spiked gauntlet that Daniels gave to him and the vest, because they both made sense and looked pretty cool too boot. I combined the insignias of the X and the Askani symbol on his arm to signify his fight to come to terms with his different influences, and to show how he was trying to stop his future from occuring...sort of duel obligations. I also gave him back all of his...gasp... guns!!! He was always a gun wielding type of guy, but now that Marvel has gone PC to the max (look at Punisher for crying out loud), he turned into Mr. Let's Talk...not anymore...back to guns and basics for this guy :-). The pouches on his uniform are for power packs for his guns when he runs out, and for other things that soldiers carry...like rations, a compass...stuff like that. The straps on his costume can be used to move his guns around, or to pick up more guns and such if he needs them. I think that is about it.
