This project was put together using a Plaid "Make it Mosaic" kit. Adaptations were made in that the crafter used hand cut tiles instead of the materials that were included with the kit. Also, a few drops of red paint were used to tint the grout a pinkish color. According to "powershopper", a fellow ebayer, " if you want colored grout you do not have to buy the expensive premixed colors. Simply stir some craft or any paint you have into a grout mixture and custom mix your color." As you can see, the acrylic paint used for this project worked quite well. |
