A Duo of excellence:

  • Mr. Andre D. Bermudez as six string baritone electric guitar player, drum sequencer, audio engineer, lead vocalist and lyricist.
  • Mr. Matthew P. Dallow as synthesist using keyboard oriented instruments, also takes on the role of backing vocalist and theremin.
  • songwriting duties are split between the two members
Space Robot Scientists was founded in the Spring months of 1998 as a solution for the everchanging musical tastes of the aforementioned cofounders. Space Robot Scientists is a full time ongoing project with 100% musical comittment from its members. We command excellence! We demand high quality results!

  • 6-7-03: Space Robot Scientists is officially back together, and will be playing its comeback show at Saints and Sinners on July 3rd 2003. Check the Shows Page for more info...
  • 4-24-03: Ok so the band broke up more than 4 months ago... why am I posting news on the page? Hmm...
  • 10-12-2002: We are pleased to announce the addition of Pericles Tembelis to the lineup of Space Robot Scientists. In our search for a bass player, he achieved our level of superbness. We are sure he will be a signifigantly pleasing addition to the band. Check out the shows page, as we are now playing again on a regular basis...
  • 8-12-2002: We are sorry to announce that due to some personal issues within the band, Sean has quit, and he played his last show with us on Friday, August 9th. Matt and Andre will be writing new songs and looking for a new bass player. Meanwhile look for new recordings to pop up soon (hopefully).
  • 5-24-2002: The band has been playing shows consistently... we recently played a free show to about 15 teenage girls locked up in juvenile hall... so don't say we don't support tha kids! If you haven't checked us out, you're probably locked in your basement, and I would suggest calling the police or yelling really loud... anyway, we're getting our music out there... a porn search engine has picked up a few tracks to make your dinkle tinkle... also we're working on the layout for our long awaited 12" single featuring a jungle version of Soldier's Song, and a cover of Rock The Casbah... keep your eyes peeled folks!!!
  • 1-8-2002: Revamped the page... isn't it terrific
  • 9-17-01: Just a review of our summer events... Space Robot Scientists went on Warped Tour for the NY and NJ dates to help promote DIY Fest and the new compilation that they released on Digital Hardcore Records. This comp features artists such as Jello Biafra, Ani DiFranco, and members of Atari Teenage Riot. Also, it includes some of our friends that played with on Warped Tour... White Collar Crime, Miracle of 86, and Dufus (to name a few). The CD is available worldwide... check a store near you... if they don't have it in stock, they can order it.
